3rd ANNUAL ESPERANZA LATINO TEACHER AWARDS

A teacher is one of the most important and lasting influences in a child’s life. CPLC, along with its corporate and community partners, established the Esperanza Latino Teacher Awards to recognize the impact Latino teachers have on their students. Translated into English, “Esperanza” means “Hope,” and so this prestigious event celebrates outstanding educators who are the hope for future generations. The Esperanza Latino Teacher Awards is the only awards program that highlights outstanding Latino educators throughout Nevada.

The Esperanza Awards recognize the imporant role that Latino teachers play and honor these "unsung heroes" with a prestigious dinner and awards ceremony. This is an emotional and inspriational event filled with stories of dedicated educators overcoming insurmountable obstacles to serve the children of Arizona
